Captain Mike White has been fishing the waters off Virginia and North Carolina for more than twenty years, with more than ten years of charter and commercial fishing experience. He and his crew charter and commercial fish year round off the North Carolina coast. He has participated in several commercial fisheries over the years, including; beach seining large migratory Stripers off the north beaches of North Carolina's Outer Banks, gill netting Spots, and hook and line commercial harvests of giant Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi, King Mackerel, and Grouper. The safety and comfort of the customers is our foremost priority. Captain Mike has years of rough water experience, and the Offshore Account is an extremely seaworthy vessel; however, we take careful consideration to the current weather pattern, sea conditions, and wind speeds and direction before we leave port, as well as throughout the duration of the fishing trip. Capt. Mike is a United States Coast Guard licensed captain and certified in child and adult CPR and first aid. In addition, the Offshore Account is a commercially inspected vessel by the U.S. Coast Guard; these commercial safety requirements far exceed those required for charter vessels of its size. A list of safety equipment can be found below under the boat description. The captain and crew of the Offshore Account have the years of experience necessary to put fish in the box, regardless of the conditions. We rely on loyal customers and repeat business, so we will go the extra mile and stay the extra hour if necessary. The Offshore Account has been found in the following publications: Wrightsville Beach Magazine, Outrider Magazine, and the Fisherman's Post. Come join us aboard the Offshore Account and experience the rush of offshore sport fishing at its finest!
